We sincerely apologize for the delay on this update. We had some complications. But we have our Installation updates ready and here it is!! On 1st August 2009, Prefects Installation of SMKSU was held in the Dewan Perdana PIBG SMK Subang Utama. The event lasted from 8 a.m in the morning till 2 p.m. On this day, new batch of prefects will continue to help the school to success. Today, emotions was felt throughout the event as prefects gets installed and also for the BODs and seniors which are stepping down. This event was emceed by Rae-Gin along with her compatriot, Helena.

The event started with performances from shuffle dancers and a traditional indian dance.
Then, probates who passed their probation would be installed as a official prefect on this respective day are to be installed according to their forms. The installation will start from the form 4, form 3, then the form 2 and finally the form 1 prefects.

Then we had the outgoing BODs to pin the mentos for the newly elected BODs for year 2009/2010.
The event continues with the honour guard march-in. This is where the ceremony of passing down the prefect flag and torch takes place.
The Head Prefect of 09/10 gave his speech and also lead the pledge with the other Board of Directors.
the first half of the event ended with a performance from the afternoon session prefects and also in memory of R.I.P Michael Jackson, they presented a song titled You Are Not Alone.
The event came to a temporary hold as the honored guest and parents gets some refreshment whereas the prefects are able to communicate with prefects from other school.
After the refreshments, all the prefects gathered in the hall and Sheereen performed a song.
After that, all of the prefects had a game session together, hosted by the BOD of 09/10. Pictures taken during the game session:
The event ended with a success and we hope everyone had a great time during the installation. A few memorable pictures with the representative from the other schools' prefect. Last but not least, we would like to thank the school administrators and PIBGs for attending to our installation
Lastly, dont forget the Outgoing BODS and also ex-seniors from the previous years, who came to pay a visit.
